Click for full story. It's extremely hard to give away a 17-point lead while playing strong defense, but somehow, it happened tonight. It's nothing short of a tragedy that the Nets walked out of town with an 85-82 win.

Click for full story. Samuel Dalembert's status for tonight's game is still unknown, but if I had to bet, I'd put money on him missing at least a couple of games. Last night, after the injury, Elton Brand started at the five, with Miller, Green, Iggy and Thad rounding out the lineup. If Sammy can't go tonight, that's the lineup I'd expect to see.

Click for full story. It shouldn't have taken a strong final four minutes to put away the Washington Wizards, but it's good to know they're capable, and it's great to see Andre Iguodala leading the charge.

Click for full story. The Wiz are currently 27 games under .500 and sinking fast. After the jump we'll take a super-quick look at the stats, talk about what I want to see from EB and, of course, our in-game discussion.

Click for full story. Tom Moore reports that Coach DiLeo thinks it's still to early to put EB back in the starting lineup. DiLeo also seems to be on the fence about who will take a seat, it does, however, appear to be narrowed down to Willie or Thad. No small-lineups with Brand at center, at least not to start the game.

Click for full story. A rumor was floated today about how much money Andre Miller is supposedly seeking for his next deal. Let's just say, I don't think it's a price the Sixers (or anyone else) will be willing to meet.

Click for full story. In the first half, the Sixers turned the ball over 14 times. They allowed Houston to grab 9 offensive rebounds, a rate of 33%. Thad Young grabbed two rebounds the entire half. The Sixers were held to 18 points in the second quarter. It was almost an unwatchable half of basketball. The only highlights came from Elton Brand, who blocked 6 shots. How, you may ask, did a start like that turn into the biggest win of the season (thus far)? Check after the jump for the answer.

Click for full story. It looks like the Houston Rockets will be at full strength tonight when the Sixers head to Houston. There were reports that resident lunatic Ron Artest could be out until after the All Star break, but word is that he feels fine today and he will play tonight. Check after the jump for the stats and join the in-game discussion in the comments.

Click for full story. It's funny, to find out how the Sixers are playing a casual fan doesn't have to watch the games, check the box scores, listen to the WIP or read the Inquirer. All he' has to do is check the comments section right here. If the Sixers are playing well, the conversation will veer toward under-appreciated players, smart coaching moves and playoff seeding. If they're playing poorly, it's mostly trade rumors and no one is safe.
