It's extremely hard to give away a 17-point lead while playing strong defense, but somehow, it happened tonight. It's nothing short of a tragedy that the Nets walked out of town with an 85-82 win.

Samuel Dalembert's status for tonight's game is still unknown, but if I had to bet, I'd put money on him missing at least a couple of games. Last night, after the injury, Elton Brand started at the five, with Miller, Green, Iggy and Thad rounding out the lineup. If Sammy can't go tonight, that's the lineup I'd expect to see.

Tom Moore reports that Coach DiLeo thinks it's still to early to put EB back in the starting lineup. DiLeo also seems to be on the fence about who will take a seat, it does, however, appear to be narrowed down to Willie or Thad. No small-lineups with Brand at center, at least not to start the game.
