Click for full story. Back in June, with disconcerting rumors about the Sixers ownership/front office swirling, I chose to bide my time. Who's in charge, who's make decisions, those are typically secondary concerns. Possibly, they aren't concerns at all. Who makes a decision carries no meaning without the decisions themselves present to be evaluated. Well, now we have a handful of decisions, and possibly the outline of a plan...or a direction...or maybe two plans and two directions. Let's take stock.

Click for full story. As he has been known to do from time to time, 76ers Co-Owner and CEO Adam Aron took to his Twitter Feed on Sunday to answer questions about the 76ers. As I checked out his page in-depth that night, I found out a few interesting things: Philadelphia finally cares about basketball, and the current executives were responsible for the great success last season (well, even though being a mediocre team is hardly something to brag about, and last year's team was built before he came, but besides that he's spot on). Most importantly, I learned the Eagles are currently in Training Camp. Who knew? I NEED to get up to Lehigh at some point this week.

Click for full story. If my reading of the tea leaves is incorrect (and it probably is), and the more optimistic members of the fan base are correct, the Sixers have a plan. They're laying the groundwork for a slow rebuild, or a delayed rebuild. They're clearing their books for two years from now. I say if that's the plan, then do it right.

Click for full story. In another move no one saw coming, the Sixers have traded for another small forward. This time, though, it's a move that makes a lot of sense in terms of making the team better. Dorell Wright will join the Sixers. The cost? I believe it's some guy you've never heard of.

Click for full story. Josh Harris didn't push his net worth north of $1B by taking over a poorly run company and then leaving said company's management team in place to continue making the same mistakes, over and over again. Unfortunately...no, tragically, that's exactly what he's done with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Click for full story. Well, the Sixers reportedly brought back pretty much the only free agent I wanted them to, Lavoy Allen. Unfortunately, even this news is tempered with a kick in the midsection.
