The new DepressedFan.com has a few bells and whistles that I don't think I've done a very good job of explaining. The biggest change is the ability for you guys to sign in, upload avatars (user pictures) and track and follow your activity on profile pages.
Just to be clear, registration is not mandatory. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to. You can still comment exactly the same way you used to. I won't share your e-mail address with anyone if you do register, it's only required because a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with a link to click to confirm your account.
If you have an account, once you sign in it should last for a day or two. If your cookie runs out there are Sign In links at the top of the page and also right above the comment form on every entry. You can edit your profile any time by clicking "Edit Profile" in the header, that's how you add a profile picture, or change the picture if you get sick of it.

When you create a profile on this site, it will be good on all of the blogs in the Blogs By Fans network which have the new software enabled.

Brian is the edit profile on your site.i must be blind
You have to register first, then you can edit your profile.
Go to the top of this page, on the right hand side you'll see something that says "Sign In | Not a Member? Register"
Click on register and then enter your info and you'll create a profile. Then you can upload a picture, etc. When you come back, all you have to do is click the Sign In link right above the comment field and it'll automatically sign you in.
I created a profile and verified it, but I am only signed in when I view your profile? Weird. Everytime I log in, it takes me to the home page with the Register/Sign In link at the top.
If you click the sign in button it should automatically sign you in and keep you signed in as long as you're on the site.
