Ian Kennedy is out of the game without a chance to win it after hurling 7 dominant innings. Check out this line for the kid: 7 ip, 1 er, 1 hit, 4 walks, 7 ks. The only hit he allowed probably should've been caught by Melky.

The Yanks have a rally going in the top of the ninth, I'll be back with more after the game.

UPDATE: Tough loss for the Bombers. Burnett threw a great game as well. The only question I have is why was Chris Britton in the game and not Farnsworth? If Joe was saving Farnsworth for the Boston series, that's stupid.

Player of The Game: Ian Kennedy. He sure looked like an ace tonight.
