Tonight’s game was horrible. Credit where credit is due, Jeff Francis was superb. The Yankees left their bats in New York, apparently. They’ve been held to one run on consecutive nights in Coors. F*cking humidor.
OK, enough about the first two games of this series, let’s talk about tomorrow’s day game. Roger Clemens is being paid roughly the GDP of Kiribati per start. He’s being paid all of that money to win games like this one. The Yanks have dropped two games in two days to the Sox, they sit 10 games out, again, and they need to end this streak at two. Time to earn your money, Roger.
Player of the Game: Derek Jeter, 2 for 4, with the lone Yankee RBI.
