The Yanks got washed out tonight, tomorrow they’ll play a day/night doubleheader in Tejas, against the Rangers.
Game 1 @ 3:35pm: Andy Pettitte (1–1, 3.00 ERA) vs. Kevin Millwood (2–3, 5.88 ERA)
Game 2 @ 8:10pm: Mike Mussina (0–1, 9.00 ERA) vs. Robinson Tejada (3–1, 3.82 ERA)
I’m in the mood for a sweep. It’d be nice if Moose could come off the DL and give us 7 strong. How about two saves for Mo, as well. Let’s be positive today.
In other Yankee news, Carl Pavano cut his bullpen session short due to imaginary stiffness obviously related to his phantom forearm injury. This news came from Peter Abraham at the LoHud Yankees blog. (see later post for a discussion of the LoHud Yankees Blog)
