The Yanks didn’t hesitate to pull the on the rain out tonight. The game has been cancelled and Andy Pettitte will now be held back until Friday, against the Red Sox.

This is good news for the Yanks. Now Pettitte and Wang will pitch in the Boston series. The second game will be either Karstens or Wang. It also means a day off for everyone in the bull pen. Which couldn’t have come at a better time.

Twenty-four hours until Phil Hughes’ debut. If you’re looking for something to watch tonight, I suggest the Dodgers/Giants game in LA.
