the best move the yankees ever made was not letting melky go for gagne.... i say give the giambinio a shot at first see what he can still do if we have him and damon in the lineup every day it will de devistating to opposing pitchers.. cmon joe
If it was up to me, I'd see how Shelley does at first defensively. If he isn't a liability, then I'd go w/ him. Damon is a spot-starter and pinch runner at this point. Giambi can DH.
