, all the time

Phil Hughes was dominant tonight. He made a great case for a post-season start (I'll get into that in a detailed post over the weekend). Joba pitched on consecutive nights for the first time in his M.L. career and didn't disappoint. A letter to the skipper to cap this one off...

Player of The Game: Phil Hughes, 7 innings, 1 earned, 4 hits, 2 walks, 5 Ks. Now 5-3 on the season with a 4.46 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. Not bad for a truncated rookie season.
