Hank is obviously putting himself out there for the press, and I can't say that I've disagreed with most of his statements thus far. Let's just hope that Brian Cashman is ultimately making the decisions with the help of the other baseball folks in the organization and Hank's ego doesn't wind up dictating the direction of the franchise.
For my money, the only way this deal is worth it is if the names Joba, Hughes and Cano are not involved. Melky, Kennedy and maybe another prospect not named Austin Jackson could be palatable, but when you factor in a $150M deal and the prospects Santana might not be worth it.
