This is only a rumor at this point, but River Ave. Blues is saying that Kei Igawa is leaving the Yanks in favor of Chris Basak, presumably for the minor leagues. Newsday’s Yankee blog has a blurb about Kei and his interpretor packing their bags and leaving Camden Yards.
At this point, who was a bigger bust: Carl Pavano or Kei Igawa?
Buster Olney on ESPN just said there's a chance some team might want to take him in a trade and try to "rebuild" him. You know, like he's Steve Austin or something.
Olney mentioned the Dodgers as potential buyers. If that happens, I will die.
Wow. If that happens I'll be the happiest man on the face of the earth. I have to imagine the Yanks would have to pick up about 90% of his contract if he was included in a deal. He is just horrible, no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
