Andre Iguodala has become a one-man wrecking crew on half court defenses. He seems to be good for at least one of these plays a game these days:
Vs. the Raptors
Vs. the Hawks, to tie the game at 93
At some point, you'd think opposing defenders would realize that Andre almost never drives to his left, and they'd just ignore the crossover. Then again, he's so much quicker than the guys "defending" him in these clips, it probably doesn't matter. Still no video of his dunk on Jared Jeffries from the Knicks game, that one was better than both of these. Enjoy Sixers fans!

You know, for years I (and my friends) wondered why no one seemed to notice that Latrell Sprewell only drove to his left (a little odd for a righty, admittedly). Always. Yet they never guarded him to force him to go right. I figured it was because he was too fast, and because you never expect a righty to go left, even when you are expecting it!
Iggy is a strange case. It's a combination of he's too fast, but why not force him left? Probably because he's so fast that if you defend right too much he'll get by straight ahead. That's pretty much what Latrell would do, too.
The funny thing is that if you watch film of him in high school, he drives to his left. Not sure why he's abandoned it in the pros.
I bet it's something he addresses in the off season.
