Is Advertising Whore Too Strong of a Term? I Think Not

The PlayStation Skills Competition just kicked off with a 20-second closeup of LeBron James tying his new hideous gold Nikes. Enough is enough already. Either Nike paid for that commercial or someone got to the cameraman AND the director in the van outside. Some screenwriter in L.A. just got inspiration for another Denzel Washington kidnap movie.

Just in case you missed them, here are the LeBron kicks. (The Nike site didn't have them in gold, so I had to do a little Fireworks magic, but this is a pretty accurate representation of how hideous they are.)
