Larry Brown rejoins the Sixers

In a week which has seen one NBA coaching legend fake an injury to get away from his pitiful team, another has quietly taken a step closer to the bench. That's right Sixers' faithful, Larry Brown has officially rejoined the same team he abandoned 4 years ago, assuming the role of executive vice president.

Larry Brown will wind up coaching the Sixers again, it's only a matter of time. I think the reason he's been brought back under the Sixers' umbrella at this point is twofold. One, Billy King gets a kick out of his mentor being his subordinate. And two, the Sixers have dibs on him, because plenty of teams are going to be looking for a coach soon.

Mo Cheeks, your days are numbered.
