Poor Showing From the Sixers
Andre Iguodala's shooting slump continued, he was a horrid 3-12 from the floor for 10 points. Not to be outdone, Willie Green, who played 20 important minutes tonight, finished 3-11 from from the field for 8 points. I guess Korver gets the player of the game, but the story of the night was the Charlotte Bobcats. Adam Morrison and Matt Carroll combined for 38 points and 5 threes. Emeka Okafor, who didn't start the game because of "flu-like symptoms" (sissy) finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds, and Gerald Wallace took the ball to the hole at every opportunity. Most of the time he was out of control, but he finished with 19 points. The Bobcats put 5 players in double-figures and controlled the pace pretty much the whole game. The Sixers travel to Milwaukee tonight to take on the Bucks, who were just robbed by the refs on a bogus foul call with 0.8 seconds left on the clock at Madison Square Garden. Channing Frye went to the line and sank two free throws. Bucks timeout with 0.8 seconds on the clock, down by 2. Eddy Curry looks like he gained about 10 pounds since Wednesday's game. (Sorry, I'm killing time until this game winds down). Bogut caught an elbow on the inbound pass, no call. Knicks win. Complete joke.
