If you're bummed that the 16 teams will get to pick before the Sixers in next month's draft, after the jump I have a list that may just cheer you up.

Here's a list of players selected #17 or later over the past decade.
  • 1999: James Posey (round 1, pick 18), Andrei Kirilenko (round 1, pick 24), Manu Ginobili (round 2, pick 28)
  • 2000: Michael Redd (round 2, pick 14)
  • 2001: Gerald Wallace (round 1, pick 25), Tony Parker (round 1, pick 28), Gilbert Arenas (round 2, pick 2), Mehmet Okur (round 2, pick 9)
  • 2002: Tayshaun Prince (round 1, pick 23), Carlos Boozer (round 2, pick 6)
  • 2003: David West (round 1, pick 18)
  • 2004: Josh Smith (round 1, pick 17), J.R. Smith (round 1, pick 18), Kevin Martin (round 1, pick 26)
  • 2005: Danny Granger (round 1, pick 17), David Lee (round 1, pick 30), Monta Ellis (round 2, pick 10)
  • 2006: Rajon Rondo (round 1, pick 21), Paul Millsap (round 2, pick 17)
  • 2007: Rudy Fernandez (round 1, pick 24), Marc Gasol (round 2, pick 18), Ramon Sessions (round 2, pick 26)
  • 2008: Courtney Lee (round 1, pick 22)

So, in the past 10 drafts, you have a minimum of 10 all stars drafted after #17. There is hope, Sixers fans. It's just a matter of scouting and luck.

For another draft fix, DraftExpress has all of the measurements from the combine posted.
