Mike Prada from SB Nation put together the animated .GIF above of what is probably the best thing I've seen happen on the sidelines of a Sixers game in the past six years or so. All season long we've seen glimpses of or heard rumors about Doug Collins' short leash with Evan Turner. Well, there was nothing hidden about this glorious moment in which Collins finally reached the point with Spencer Hawes any sane individual would've reached about five games into his Philly career. The first half of tonight's game played out like many others over the last half of the season, minus Jrue Holiday's offensive explosion. The Sixers scored enough points to stay in the game, but their defense was extremely porous and not being able to get stops led to an eight-point halftime deficit. The second half, though, was reminiscent of the ball these guys played during their 20-9 start. Add it up, and you get a blowout win on the road in the playoffs. (game capsule).

Without Derrick Rose, the Bulls lose that go-to guy who can penetrate at will, hit crazy shots no matter what defense you throw at him, get a whistle to stop a scoring drought and carry the offense to a win when nothing else is working. Superstars can win games by themselves in the playoffs, and the Bulls are decidedly without one now. C.J. Watson isn't that type of player, not at all. What he is, however, is another cog with a specific purpose on the offensive end, and he fills his role very, very well.
