The Sixers just released a highlight reel of Jrue's rookie season. Watch it after the jump, share your favorite play in the comments. Good way to start the weekend.

I don't care how down on this franchise you are, watching Jrue play has to give you something to look forward to.

Its a shame because there are so many plays on there I have never seen because of how little I cared about watching this year.

The most encouraging plays were any made shot beyond 23 ft 9 inches. With his IQ, athleticism, and defense...3 pt range makes him really special.

Yeah, his shooting will go a long way ion determining how good he can become.

I was happy about the decision to pick him since the draft day, his season confirmed my expectations. Jrue can really be one of the cornerstones of the future sixers.

Off topic: Assuming we don't get into the top 3, this is probably the best case scenario for Sixers fans.

    Absolutely. Make it so...

wow, thought i was watching an allstar player's highlight reel.

    fav plays are
    1. his blocks (i like blocks :D )
    2. crossing over durantula

my favorite play was definitely the play against the suns where he stole the ball from nash i think it was and dived after it and threw it to speights. that was a game where he was playing all out and the rest of the team was playing half assed and that really showed me the type of player he is.

Great play- but he stripped the back-up PG Dragic.

damn still a great play though

I really like the first or second play on the tape, where he stalks house in the open floor then comes from behind and swats it. Pretty play. Fun watching Willie's ineffective challenge as well.

Makes me bummed its another 7 months...

that was a true joy to watch

Not to change the subject, but I e-mailed Stefanski to see if anything is up with the coaching search. He e-mailed back to say he's "collecting info."

With a desire to pursue the best candidates available, the New Orleans Hornets already have made preliminary contact with representatives of Avery Johnson and Jeff Van Gundy to gauge their interest, according to league sources. Detailing their search objectives earlier this week, Hornets president Hugh Weber said they have not officially interviewed anyone yet, but they have consulted with several. The "info he is collecting" is what LB says after his Bobcats lose 2 more games.

BTW- any Eagles draft opinions? I here they are going to trade down for sole rights to the 4th and 5th rounds- because that is where all of the value is :)

Hey brian, just wanted to invite you and your readers over to the site for some live NFL draft fun.

I had to watch that 3 times in a row, it was that good.

I'm really excited to see what he can do over 30 MPG for a season.

The Sixers should take a page from the Eagles and trade their #1 for 3 second rounders. That would save some cap space :)
