Change Has Arrived

It took a little longer than expected, but from this day forward Depressed Fan.com will be strictly a Sixers blog.

If you come here for the Yankees, you'll be able to find my Yankees material over at In Mo We Trust. If you're an Eagles fan, then you'll want to point your browser to Don't Boo The Birds. Like I said earlier, it got to the point where I felt like I wasn't doing a good job of covering all the teams and I've gotten quite a few e-mails from people who are only interested in one team or the other. This was a move that probably should have been made earlier, so I apologize for the delay.

Over the past week or so I've been upgrading the software that runs all of the blogs in the network, and you'll see some new features on this blog as well as my two new blogs. Foremost among them is the ability to create a profile, upload an avatar, and sign in to comment. This is strictly a voluntary thing, you can still comment the way you always have, but the profiles allow you to follow authors and other commenters, quickly view any conversations you're involved in and check out what all the other guys are up to.

To create a profile click on the "Register" link at the top right of any screen. It's a simple process and you only have to do it once for the entire network.

I think we're heading into an exciting era on this network. A few new blogs are in the pipeline and should be launched soon. A few more in the network will receive makeovers in the coming weeks/months. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all you readers out there for making it such a pleasure.
