Not only are the Sixers the worst team in the league, but they're banged up as well. The team's lone bright spot, Andre Iguodala, strained his lower back against San Antonio and didn't practice yesterday, along with Willie Green and the team's only "superstar," (and I use that term extremely loosely) Chris Webber.
The Philadelphia Daily News has a story today about how Webber is dealing with what ammounts to the worst season of his career. There's also some coach-speak from Mo Cheeks, but you can skim over that.
AI Update: The Heat have dropped out of the race for Iverson's services, though I find it hard to believe they were ever major players in the sweepstakes. They didn't have the combination of picks, expiring contracts and young players to put together an attractive offer. Any deal would've included Antoine Walker, and while his horible contract does resemble something Billy King would put together, it's not the type of deal they're looking for at this point.
I'll leave you with the absolute gem of a quote the Daily News pulled out of Webber, "Losing... I hate losing. It makes you feel like a loser."
