Fast Edward Jordan seems to have gotten the memo. Whether he realizes he's on the fast track to a golden parachute or he's decided he's going to take his frustrations out on the players he blames for his epic failure in what will hopefully be his last NBA coaching job is immaterial. The end result is the same, he's got the Sixers player their worst basketball exactly when they need to be losing games.
File this under, "even more smoke." Kate Fagan is reporting that Jordan is out, it's only a matter of time. She cites several sources, and there are some gems in the story like my own personal favorite:
These sources indicated that Jordan could be fired before this season ends - if it becomes obvious he has lost the team - but more likely after the final game of this dismal season.
Wait, someone is saying he hasn't obviously lost the team yet? That ship sailed a couple of months ago.
Anyway, here's your rotation chart, and is it ever a beauty:
I don't think we really need to go into any depth at all over this one. Jrue shot the ball well, again, but he got sloppy toward the end of the game. He and Dalembert put together a little bit of a run near the end of the fourth, but it didn't amount to anything. Brand and Iguodala sat most of the second half. Lucky them.
Player of The Game: Jrue
Team Record: 23-40
Up Next: Charlotte, in Philly, tonight.
