I let out a breath I'd been holding since the third quarter last night when I read Andre Iguodala is officially listed as available for tonight's game against the Raptors. I'm reading that as "he's playing 40 minutes, or at least until the game is out of reach." The Sixers have four home games left. This is one of them. They have to win it.
Nothing is free in this league. The Sixers need to come out tonight and systematically dismantle the Raptors the way they routinely dismantled bad teams up until the last Wizards game. Leave no doubt. Execute, hustle and put the pressure on Boston to beat really good teams the next two nights if they want to remain atop the Atlantic division.
Again, if everyone plays to their record, the Sixers will enter the weekend tied with Boston for the lead in the Atlantic with the first of a back-to-back at home, against the Magic on Saturday followed by a showdown in Boston on Easter. This game is very, very big.
The tip is at 7pm. This is your game thread. I'll be here, hopefully slightly bored by a dominant Sixers performance. Join me if you think every win counts (and can't face the possibility of a loss in a game like this.)
Prediction: PHI 105, TOR 87
