Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and co. will play host to our beloved Sixers at 8 p.m. Let's take a look at the tentative starting lineups and get ready for the first game the Sixers have played against a legitimate team since Oct. 29th.
Here are your lineups:
- PG: Jrue Holiday vs. Russell Westbrook
- SG: Evan Turner vs. Thabo Sefolosha
- SF: Andres Nocioni vs. Kevin Durant
- PF: Elton Brand vs. Serge Ibaka
- C: Spencer Hawes vs. Nenad Krstic
Jeff Green is expected to miss the game for OKC. Personally, I think Ibaka is the better player, but this does sap them of some depth. No word from Doug Collins on when the Spencer Hawes experience will mercifully come to an end, so prepare yourselves.
This is the Sixers' first road game against a legitimate playoff team. It's the first of a brutal three-game stretch on the road which will take them to Texas for a back-to-back with Dallas and San Antonio on Friday. I'm not really sure what to expect tonight. The Sixers are playing much, much better basketball since their opener against Miami and the following game against Atlanta, but they've been playing against poor teams. Can they keep it up against a legit team? We'll soon find out.
The tip is at 8. I'll be right here throughout, join me in the game thread below if you're brave enough.
