Well, I never really considered Ivey a huge part of the team, but now that he leaves they're even more thin at the guard position. Currently, Lou Williams and Willie Green are the only guards on the roster. Of course, I consider Iguodala a shooting guard, but Eddie Jordan apparently does not.
I suppose Ivey either thinks he'll get more than the minimum elsewhere (doubtful) or he doesn't like is prospects in Philly and he's looking for greener pastures.
Jodie Meeks and Austin Daye are both staying in the draft. Today is the deadline. I think most people had Meeks going back to school, Daye staying in the draft. Teague is another guy potentially on the fence.
I'd love to see us get Meeks as I think he'd be a great fit. I'd like to see us buy a 2nd round pick or two. Meeks should be a target. Maybe Jack McClinton (he might be undrafted himself).
If the Sixers were to get really creative, draft Nick Calathes and retain his rights as he might be back after a year.
Would you guys be dissapointed to see them draft teague? He's a scoring point but i don't see him as a lou williams type player. He's a point guard that just so happen can score if that makes sense. Just by watching wake forest games you can see he runs the show and gets his teammates involved but looks to score in crunch time. Teague, Williams, and Lawson are my top three in no particular order of guys who will probably be available for us.

Jeff Teague didn’t say a word the entire workout. He was happy to just stand around. He didn’t talk to his big men, instructing them, telling them where to go. He looked a bit disinterested. If that’s the leadership your point guard is showing, then I don’t know. On the other hand he’s obviously a phenomenal athlete. He blew by Vasquez at will. He didn’t shoot that well, though.

Well you shouldn't worry so much about one guy one a mediocre team like teh bulls when you got bigger issues to deal with. Ivey isn't unique, or expensive, or hard to replace.

Smith is still a BYC, so don't expect him to be moved for picks unless he goes to a team with plenty of cap space before July 1st (Memphis is the only team in the league that could trade for Smith before July 1st, or they could be involved as the third team).
If Atlanta trades him they're just idiots - this is one of those times you fire the coach and find a guy to smack smith around for a year and see if he can get his crap together.

He shot 34.2 percent from 3-point in the regular season (Donyell Marshall was at 45.5), but finished the regular season 8-for-28 (28.6) and had the lowest percentage of any Sixer to make a 3 in the playoffs (28.6). He was also a bit of a disappointment at the defensive end. Still, it's hard to complain about a minimum-salary guy.
He does have problems finishing at the rim; our team continues to get softer and softer.

Teagues been getting some bad reviews from his work outs - that worries me
Teague was dealing with an injury, so that may have hurt his performance in workouts. Still, I'd prefer Maynor or Lawson over him at 17.
