 The Field Trip Is On I'm proud to announce that the first official Depressed Fan field trip is a go. I just purchased the block of 20 seats to Sixers/Clippers game on Saturday, December 19th at 7 p.m.. The seats are in section 115, rows 13 and 14. The face value is $101, but with the group discount (and further subsidization by the blog's ad revenues) it will only be $25 each for you guys. More details after the jump.
We have 20 seats right now, but if our number swells beyond that, we can add more at the same price. I was assured that they will put our group name on the Jumbotron during the game, and there has already been some talk of a tailgate party prior to the game, though that's not confirmed. I'm going to need payment by November 19th, and I will mail the hard tickets to everyone as soon as I get them from the team. I'm excited to meet those of you I haven't run into at games yet, see the guys I've met before again, and more than anything, to catch a game with a bunch of guys (and gals) who are as crazy about the Sixers as I am. $25 for lower-level seats is a really good deal, and there's no limit to the number of tickets we can add on to the original 20, so bring everyone and anyone who isn't quite sold on this team, we'll do our best to make sure they leave as a fan.
