The game isn't officially over as I start writing this, but I want to get my recap done as quickly as possible so I can erase this game from my memory.

The Sixers and Pacers came out on fire, scoring at will for the first 5 minutes, from that point on, the Sixers couldn't do anything on the offensive side of the ball. That isn't technically correct, they could turn the ball over, and they did so at an alarming rate.

You have to just write this one off, the referees were absolutely horrible tonight, but they were equally horrible for both teams. They missed about 200 calls, by my count. Mo Cheeks and Andre Miller both got called for technical fouls, I believe each of their first for the season. No one could shoot, no one could dribble and no one could pass. That pretty much sums it up.

They played tough D, for stretches, but couldn't convert on countless stops, especially in the beginning of the fourth quarter. It just went final, 103-85.

There was a sliver of good news, Rodney Carney couldn't find his way into the game, not even for a couple of seconds of garbage time action.

Player of The Game: Reggie Evans, 8 points, 16 rebounds.
Team Record: 10-15

Turn the page at home against the Lakers on Friday. Check out Arin It Out for Pacers coverage.

Sounds good for me too: erase the game and prepare to welcome the Lakers

Don't remember if you are a JOB fan Brian, I was...

He's doing a great job also with this other below-average team he happens to coach now...Pacers are overachieving IMO and it shows they are well coached

He's always been a successful coach, I'm not crazy about his defensive philosophies, if he even has any, but he gets a lot out of his teams.
