Summer Reading is a series on what each Philadelphia Seventy-Sixer needs to do this off season in order to bring the Sixers back to the playoffs in ‘07–08. Each member of the Sixers will get a reading list, we’ll start with Bobby Jones, and end with Andre Iguodala (Least minutes per game to most).

Vital stats: 8 minutes per game, 46.2% from the field, 11.1% from three, 56.1% from the line, 1.3 rebs, 0.4 assts, 0.3 steals, 0.0 blocks, 1.3 fouls, 2.5 ppg.

The rub: Bobby Jones, the 6’7” swingman with a famous name and infamous stats was typically the last man off the bench for the Sixers this year. Mo Cheeks used late-season injuries as a chance to give Jones some burn, to see what he could do. The resounding answer was nothing. I’ll be completely shocked if Jones is on the roster come opening day, especially with three first rounders coming in.
Up next: Louis Amundson.

Wasn't this guy a second round pick supposedly for his defense? He didn't show much of it on the rare occasions he moved off the bench....
Every time I saw him on the floor I'd ask myself, "Why the hell is this guy even in the league?"
I still don't have an answer for that question.
