Sixers are favored by 6.5 points tonight. I don't check NBA point spreads that much (just happened to see this one), but that's got to be the most they've been favored in a while (certainly this year).

I think they were big favorites in a game early in the season, maybe the third or fourth game, can't remember. This was after good showings vs. Miami and Atlanta in the first two games.

Sixers have only been favored 4 times this year, highest was by 5 points vs cleveland. Sixers are 12-7-1 (10-5-1 as an underdog) vs the spread this year , so guess they're not as bad as vegas thinks they are

Sidenote Brian I looked back at your picks at the Jrue prediction series:
14.8 ppg, 7.5 assists, 3.6 boards, 1.55 steal, 47 % FG, 39.5 3FG%.

Actual so far: 13.3 points, 7 assists, 1.55 steals, 43 % FG, 35.7 3FG%.

He's in the neighborhood of those high expectations.

I didn't look, but I have a feeling none of my other predictions are even close :)

Really bugs me when I realise that if not for the two crazy losses against the Wizards the Sixers would be 8-12 and ahead of Toronto for EIGHT in the conference. That would be a better reflection of how this team has been playing.

If it makes you feel better the sixers are currently 19th in hollingers rankings (which adjust daily basically) though their SOS for the last 10 is still sub 500
