, all the time

Now the question really comes into play. Do you rest up for Cleveland or go for the East. I think it's a no-brainer now that we've clinched to rest the guys. Jeter needs some rest. Vizcaino needs some rest along with others. we probably get Cleveland no matter what so I say we rest em.

The Viz is a shell of his former self. Jeter already has his 200th hit. I think you hit the nail on the head with those two. Jorge is another guy. You don't want them to rust over, though. I'd probably play the regulars in 2 of the last 4. A-Rod probably plays 3 or 4, just because he's 4 RBI away from Dimaggio's record for a right-handed Yankee, but you can DH him.

I think we see Joba tonight, and that's probably it for him. He's passed all of the tests. Mo will come into any save situations.

The best thing about clinching and coasting is that we'll get to see plenty of Frankenstein over the next four games.

That'd be great to see Frankenstein Duncan this weekend in Bmore!

Brain what your take on the current sox? What I mean is with Manny being back and the fact that they are resting some players (Okajima, Dice-K), do you think they are a threat again?

I don't see us having a prob. w/ the Indians, but are the Redsox running on all cylanders? Or are they in just as bad of shape when we last saw them?

The reason I ask is with the Angels having some ailing starters and the sox, who you rather see in the ALCS?

I wouldn't be so dismissive about the Indians. Sure, we swept them both times, but if you look closer, we never really did that great against Carmona in two games, and never faced Sabathia. We did beat up on Westbrook if he's their 3rd starter and Bird. I'm not sure we faced their high-caliber mid-relievers much either. We did handle Borowski, the 5-ERA closer, but their starting 1-2 are considered one of the best, if not the best, duo, so better not put this one in the bag just yet.

The Indians offense doesn't scare me, the bullpen doesn't scare me, the defense doesn't scare me, the manager doesn't scare me...but. Those two pitchers scare the living crap out of me. A team can win the series on the strength of two starters, it's happened more times than I can count.

There's really no team you can discount in the A.L.

I think if you put a gun to my head, I'd rather play the Sox in the A.L.C.S., but neither team is going to roll over and die. I say we cross that bridge when we come to it, and worry about the Indians for now (and hope for the series with less rest, because that means we'll only face Sabathia twice and Carmona once, rather than each guy twice).
