Sixers

, all the time

Hey Brian, I don't know if you remember, but I asked for your permission to translate your interview with Ed Stefanski into Chinese a while back. Here's the link: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Sixers/M.1201624656.A.65F.html

Man, it's gonna be 3am here in Taiwan when Game 1 tips off, and I got work tomorrow, but I'm gonna be watching it on web tv. I want this young Sixers team to forget about whatever people say about them, and to remember who they are and what they can do. Fight like they have in the regular season, and they'll be fine, even if they lose. If they win, though, it's gonna feel like that Finals Game 1 against the Lakers back in 2001. Go Sixers!

Thanks for a link, that's great. I hope you're up for the game, it's been too long since we've seen the Sixers play a game that really mattered, and a long road to get to this point this season. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

Hey Brian, it's really all I've been looking forward to all day. I can't wait for the 6pm tip. I'll be sure to check out the live blog later, I'm sure it will be awesome.

The good teams this squad has beaten throughout the year gives the fans and the team extreme confidence. Everyone seems to be pumped like it's the finals. I admire you picking the Sixers. Some guys don't want to sound like idiots when the Pistons get a sweep.

I literally believe have as good as shot as anybody (except the Celtics) to knock them off. They have done it twice, at their style, in their gym. Those games are huge because Detroit knows they will have to fight and the Sixers won't be intimidated. This game has taken a completely different connotation than what it would have been if the Sixers would have squeezed into the 8th spot.

Obviously good news, though not the perfect solution. This is usually the type of team Mo would opt for Evans in the starting lineup against (two legit big men).

I hope we see Thad taking and hitting jumpers because that's going to unclog the middle for Iguodala, Miller and Lou off the dribble (maybe even Garbage Time).

It's about time they redesigned Narducci's blog too.

I mean I love my eagles, but I only picked them to win it all once. I still have nightmares centered around me yelling for Andy to play Michael Lewis instead of Blaine Bishop.

I will post my pick before tip I guess since I still don't know.

I totally think the Sixers have a better chance than any lower seed in the East. I hate Gilbert Arenas though and don't think I could ever really consider picking him to win a series against Lebron.

Anyone else see Gil chucking at the end of that game and losing the game for his team? Caron Butler wasn't even touching the ball. Disgraceful.

Just to point out Bill King on the NBA TV preview show picked Sixers in 6 as well, but other then that the sixers are getting no respect at all. I truly think they will suprise a lot of people, especially now that Thad is going to be starting.

Good ole Billy! I don't mind being on the same side as him in this one.

This will be just like last year's Pistons-Bulls series. And it's not true that everyone thinks we'd be lucky to win a game, most people are picking us to win a game or two. As am I. And who are the two future stars in our rotation? I see Iguodala (nice second/third scorer), Miller (good player, not a star), Young (future star), and..... Dalembert??

Iguodala and Miller played like stars this year. Thad is a future star, and Lou has a shot, depending on his development. Maybe a little hyperbole, but I'm pretty excited today, so you're going to have to give me some leeway.

He'll be very lucky if he ever gets to be as good as Monta Ellis. Miller, even this year, is a top 25 player in the league at best.

I'm hoping that Lou's development will be more as a point than a combo guard. But Ellis is still a good comp to hope for, talent-wise.

Isn't a top 25 player a star?

I don't think so. Maybe if you're top 20.

I just hope I will catch the game live somehow... tv or Tnternet...

I love Brian optimism and I hope my 4-1 Pistons prediction will be just as right as the 31 W prediction for the reg season turned out to be...
