Click for full story. The Sixers extended their season-high winning streak to four games against Houston last night with an astounding team effort in the second half. It was quite a game. One they should've won handily, should've lost and everything in between.

Click for full story. Andre Iguodala finally looked like himself on the floor tonight, the first time in seemingly weeks. He stuffed the stat sheet and really carried the team to a win on both sides of the floor. Allen Iverson missed the game. Does one have anything to do with the other? Let me know what you think in the comments.

Click for full story. Tom Moore reported last night an NBA source has confirmed the Sixers are fielding offers for Andre Iguodala, several teams are interested, but no one has met the asking price yet. From previous reports we could've probably gleaned this much, but the new info is that the Sixers won't settle for expiring contracts alone in return for their best player.

Click for full story. Andre Iguodala has not been himself over the past three games. Whether it's the swirling trade rumors, the barbs his coach seems to enjoy throwing at him, or something deeper is anyone's guess. He's simply been marginalized in the half-court offense and it hasn't been pretty. After the jump I'm going to examine the Sixers' big three, specifically shot distribution among them.

Click for full story. When I check out the rumor mill on a daily basis and find both Andre Iguodala and Amare Stoudemire with prominent placements, I get worried. After the jump I'll tell you why.

Click for full story. Last week when I was compiling the data for this post, a new (to me) stat piqued my interest. DEFR, or Defensive Plays Rate. A "Defensive Play" is either a steal, block or charge drawn by a defender, the rate is the number of defensive plays a team makes out of 100 possessions. The Sixers are currently dominating this category, but I wanted to dig a little deeper. Check it out after the jump.

Click for full story. Eddie Jordan's new starting lineup only played 11:07 together in tonight's game against Indiana, but in those 11+ minutes they outscored the Pacers 24-15, after the jump we'll take a look at how they dominated, with a few words about the rest of the game as well.

Click for full story. The constant Andre Iguodala debate in the comments section has left me winded, and curious. I figured now would be as good a time as any to stoke the fires, so I pulled his game logs for this season and the first 40 games of last season to see what how his performance is holding up under a new coach, with new pieces around him in a new system.

Click for full story. The Sixers made it 6 wins in 10 games last night against the Sacramento Kings, and the formula wasn't all that complicated. After the jump, we'll take a look at the rotations, the contributions, the trends and the quotes of a destructive head coach.

Click for full story. Several rumors over the past 12 hours or so about the Sixers and the Rockets involving a Tracy McGrady deal. ESPN had the possible deal as Iguodala and Dalembert for McGrady. Which I find to be ludicrous on every level, which is why I didn't waste a post on it. But now Tom Moore has a source saying the teams have had discussions, so let's explore a little bit after the jump.

Click for full story. Since the argument over Andre Iguodala's worth vs. his salary seems to never end (and yes, I realize I'm more guilty than anyone), I realized there was some flawed logic to the post I wrote last month. Explanation and a monster list after the jump.

Click for full story. Kate Fagan wrote an article yesterday quoting sources familiar with the situation saying the only way the Sixers could land Tracy McGrady ('s expiring contract) would be to build a deal around Andre Iguodala and several other young pieces. Ergo, neither Elton Brand nor Samuel Dalembert would be included in the deal. After the jump, I want to talk a little bit about what a deal like this would have to look like, what it would mean, and touch on where the information could be coming from, and why.

Click for full story. For only the second time in six weeks, the Sixers won a game they should have. Congratulations, guys. The Kings, without their two best players, were no match for Philadelphia tonight in Sacramento, 116-106 was your final.

Click for full story. There are plenty of things you can say about Andre Iguodala. You can say he's one of the best all-around players in the league. You can say he is not a true superstar. You can say he's not a good shooter. You can say he's one of the best finishers in the game. There's some truth in all of those statements, but mostly they're simply opinions. Opinions are fine. That is not up for debate is whether Iguodala is overpaid, he simply is not.
