Click for full story. There's nothing to do but tip your cap to the Philadelphia 76ers after they game they just played in Boston. Down 15 points, undermanned, facing a red-hot team on the road and they refused to quit. Refused to let up. Refused to lose. Easily their best game of the season. Finally, the Sixers can say they've beaten a good team.

Click for full story. I cannot possibly overstate exactly how good Jrue Holiday was tonight on the defensive side of the ball. It's impossible. The kid was simply flawless, and Cleveland continually tested him. Again and again and again they isolated either Delonte West or Mo Williams on Holiday, and he turned them away every single time. It was like a perimeter defense clinic on the court tonight. Then Eddie Jordan made a typical Eddie Jordan substitution and the game was essentially over.

Click for full story. Much like Mo Cheeks before him, Eddie Jordan's finger has been dangling millimeters above the panic button for most of the season. When he presses it, Andre Iguodala goes back to SF, Thad goes back to PF, and again we're robbed of a decent look at how those to can coexist on the wings. Since we've got 21 games of data, and we may not get too much more, I thought now would be a good time to assess how Iguodala has performed when he's played the two.

Click for full story. Not one, but two Sixers-related videos on NBA.com this fine morning. Check them out after the jump. By the way, I chose this picture for the comedy value, check out the guy holding the "Let's Go Sixers" sign the wrong way. Free advertising for KFC, they must be psyched.

Click for full story. It was a charged environment at the Wach for Allen Iverson's return to the Sixers. The crowd seemed to carry the team most of the night, but when all was said and done, this was a very familiar game for Philly. Defense did them in, yet again.

Click for full story. Well, they weren't blown out, they showed several sparks in different areas of the game (mostly in the first half), but they just didn't have enough firepower to overcome the Hawks tonight at the Wach. That makes five losses in a row, and the schedule doesn't exactly get easier from here.

Click for full story. LBJ dropped 40 on the Pacers last night with a bum wrist. If the Sixers go into this game thinking Thad Young is going to check LeBron, tonight's game is not going to be pretty.

Click for full story. Lost amid the losing, questionable coaching and nonexistent defense we've been forced to endure over the first ten games is the remarkable start Andre Iguodala has gotten off to. There's a catch, though. I think he's doing too much.

Click for full story. The Sixers scored 141 points, they shot 60.7% from the floor, they out-rebounded the Knicks by 18 and they finished the game on a 17-0 run, yet I'm still having trouble mustering any kind of enthusiasm for this win.

Click for full story. After a solid start, the Sixers sputtered in the second quarter, but were definitely born again hard when they came out of the locker room for the second half. I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall in there for Eddie Jordan's halftime speech. The Sixers are back to .500 after cruising though the fourth quarter to a 99-86 win over the rudderless Milwaukee Bucks.

Click for full story. It wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a win. The Sixers fourth in a row to open the preseason, in fact. After the jump I'll give you my first-hand notes on the team's performance at the Garden tonight.

Click for full story. The Sixers used and abused the shorthanded Raptors in the first half tonight, then held on for their first meaningless win under Eddie Jordan. The final was 107-98. A few notes and stats after the jump.

Click for full story. Slam is in the process of releasing their top 50 list. Today, Andre Iguodala's name came up at number 26. The ranking is bad, as is the article that accompanies it, but take a look anyway. I'll quickly explain why after the jump.

Click for full story. The final installment of our Predicting 2010 series features none other than the face of the franchise, Andre Iguodala. A top-ten player in the league in my mind, switching to a new position with a bigger share of the responsibility for the team's fortunes, I'll do my best to project his upcoming (All Star?) season after the jump.
