Jeremy Lin will bring his mismatched collection of stars/superstars/fading stars and bit players to the WFC tonight to take on the Sixers in an Atlantic Division showdown.

Click for full story. After a horrible first half marred by continued soft interior play and inflated jump shooting by the Bobcats, the Sixers came out in the second half and put the Bobcats in their place. It was a strange night for Doug Collins, one which I'm sure he won't look back upon fondly, but in the end it's just another demonstrative win over a bad team. (game capsule).

Click for full story. It's time to bite off our fifth chunk of the season. The middle third of the season wasn't kind to the Sixers, but the schedule is set up for them to find their footing over the next 11 before the home stretch.

Click for full story. The Sixers had every opportunity to put the Bulls away early tonight, but they failed to do so. When you give a good team, at home, a second life, they're going to make you pay for it more often than not. Tonight, the Sixers handed a game to the Bulls. (game capsule).

Click for full story. After playing three halves of what was entirely unrecognizable as Sixers defensive basketball, Philly's spine finally showed up in a big way for the second half tonight against the Miami Heat. Unfortunately, the hole they dug for themselves was way too deep and they couldn't help but shoot themselves in the foot a couple of times late in the game. (game capsule)

Click for full story. The Sixers entered an extremely tough trio of games on Wednesday night against the Pacers. They entered needing to pick up one win in the three, then laid an egg against the Pacers. That throttling left them the enviable task of picking up a win either tonight, against an irate Miami Heat team, or tomorrow night against the Bulls squad that incensed the Heat on Wednesday. A tall order, indeed.

Click for full story. According to several reports, the Sixers have acquired Sam Young from the Memphis Grizzlies for the rights to Ricky Sanchez. This is hardly a move which will elevate the Sixers to contender status, but Young is a useful player who they got on the cheap, and he fills a need (though not a glaring need).

Click for full story. Pretty much every strength the Sixers rely on to overcome their terrible big man rotation failed them tonight. Plus, their terrible big man rotation was predictably terrible, led by Spencer Hawes, circa 2010. (game capsule).
