Click for full story. For the first time in months, the Sixers put together consecutive quality efforts. They took down the Nets behind inspired play from Hawes, then nearly halted Miami's win streak at 19. Tonight, they're going to face the type of team they can beat. Indy is a quality squad, but their offense is bad. They rely on the best defense in the league to carry the #20 offense. The Pacers are quite similar to what the Sixers were last season.

Click for full story. LeBron, Wade and the other 10 guys who ride their coattails think nothing of peaking too early. Tonight, they look to press their NBA season-best winning streak to 20 games. The Sixers, look to improve upon their 18-16 record at home and throw a few more ping pong balls out the window.

Click for full story. Here's one way to know your season is lost and your team is sunk. The other day I looked at Nets box score and said to myself, "Man, this team could use Reggie Evans." It was obviously a passing thought, but still, in the past month, watching our assortment of soft/slow/ineffective big men has led me to not only pine for Reggie Evans' services, but also briefly view Hawes as the thinnest fat girl, if you know what I mean. All of this is a long way of saying the Nets bigs will probably kill the Sixers tonight. If they don't, their smalls will. If they don't, their bench will. It's not an if, it's a how.

Click for full story. April might be an exaggeration, but if the Sixers can't knock off Orlando tonight, they probably won't be favored in a game again until maybe March 30th, vs. Charlotte (possibly the day before, if Kyrie is still malingering). Moe, Voose and Jameer are probably the Sixers best shot to win another before Easter and break their road losing streak that stretches all the way back to New Year's.<

Click for full story. The defending champs, winners of 16 straight, playing host to our cursed, bottoming-out Philadelphia 76ers, losers of three straight and 9 of 10. Yeah, this one shouldn't be close.

Click for full story. For the Sixers, no matter how tough things get, they always have the Hawks. No matter how low, they can always bury Atlanta. Or at least that's the way things have gone over the past two seasons plus. Philly has dropped ATL six straight times, each one of those wins came immediately following a loss. We'll see if history can power the Sixers' through their nightly talent deficit.

Click for full story. Prior to Rajon Rondo's injury, the Celtics were 20-23 and looking their age. Since the injury, they've won 11 of 15 and they're seemingly the Celtics of old. Is Rondo's absence leading to better basketball or did the Celts simply run into a relatively easy portion of their schedule? Probably more of the latter. Tonight, the Sixers will look to bounce back from their loss to Washington (and the 34 that preceded it) against the team that ended their season last year.

Click for full story. The Sixers will look to ride their emotional win over a floundering Warriors squad into our nation's capital tonight to take on a grossly overrated 18-win Wizards team. John Wall (.496 career TS%) vs. Evan Turner (.483 career TS%), a matchup of the worst #1 and #2 pick combination in the history of the NBA draft. Exciting stuff!

Click for full story. Golden State temporarily halted their slide right out of the playoff picture with a recent three-game winning streak at home. They hit another chute immediately upon heading out east or a four-game trip. The Sixers can extend GSW's losing jag to four tonight, or tack another onto heir own, pushing it to eight.

Click for full story. Sixers at Bulls on TNT. On paper, this game probably should've featured a Bulls team with Derrick Rose back from injury and a Sixers team with a hulking mass of domination in the middle cementing their bid for home court in the playoffs. Instead, we'll probably get the privilege of seeing Nate Robinson vs. Jeremy Pargo for about 30 minutes. Wonderful.

Click for full story. It must really irk the tanking-inclined among us to see how the Sixers were prime facilitators in the building of a nearly perfect bottom-dweller in Orlando. Tonight, we'll see who wants it less in one of the few easy wins left on the Sixers schedule this year.

Click for full story. Fresh off a well-played 24-point loss to the Heat, the Sixers head to NYC to take on a struggling Knicks team. New York has dropped four straight in spectacular fashion. If the Sixers regulars can muster the same effort tonight they did last night, they should be able to pull off the upset. Don't hold your breath, though.

Click for full story. The break is over, the trade deadline is tomorrow and the Sixers will lace 'em up in Minnesota tonight sans Andrew Bynum and Thad Young. The TWolves have been atrocious since Kevin Love went down with a broken hand, the only thing uglier than their 3-16 record over their past 19? Rubio's shooting percentages.
