|The Sixers let the Pistons hang with them through three quarters in their home opener last before taking off the kid gloves and blowing Detroit out of the water with a 32-point fourth quarter, en route to a 96-73 win. (game capsule)|
|82 of 82. The Sixers will put a bow on the regular season tonight against the Detroit Pistons. Will they use this last game as a tune up for their first round playoff series with the Miami Heat? Will they play their regulars knowing they'll have at least two off days before that series begins? Will they actually show some appreciation for the fans on fan appreciation night by defending their home court one last time? Your guess is as good as mine.|
|Like a bunch of unbathed hippies, the Detroit Pistons have apparently organized a group protest. Five of their veteran players - Ben Wallace, Tracy McGrady, Richard Hamilton, Chris Wilcox and Tayshaun Prince - all missed the team's shootaround this morning. |Get it, no "D." It's not technically true, they're a middle-of-the-pack defensive team, statistically, and their numbers are much better than the Sixers, but they aren't what they used to be. Not even close. Check out the preview after the jump.|
|Lack of respect or a realistic view? You be the judge...As a point of reference, check after the jump for every one of these experts' predictions for how the Sixers would fare in the regular season......|
