Click for full story. While the Sixers front office pats itself on the back for drafting Moe Harkless and Arnett Moultrie, two guys projected to go in the top 20, in reality they've added similar pieces to a roster in desperate need of skills these guys do not possess.

Click for full story. On Draft Eve the Sixers lame-duck, emasculated general manager seems content with the number 15 pick, and perfectly happy to take a passive approach to the draft, so I'll do the same.

If you don't have Synergy at your fingertips, the most advanced DVR/satellite television system at your disposal or millions of frequent flyer miles and no day job to worry about, this year's draft is pretty much a complete crapshoot. Scouting reports, YouTube clips, expert opinions - there isn't much else to go on. With a dearth of information, pretty much all we have to lean on is past experience. In other words, our biases.

Click for full story. Phil Jasner wrote an interesting article today about the Sixers' drafting in recent years. While the concept of the article was good and the back story that he provided for each pick was illuminating, I thought there were problems with his evaluation methodology. To evaluate how good an NBA draft pick is, one has to take into account who was available when the team drafted, how happy the team is (in hindsight) with the pick, and where the player would be picked today if the draft were done over. After the jump, I'll give my thoughts.

Click for full story. Turner, Favors, Cousins, maybe a trade? As we all know, the Sixers hold only one pick in tomorrow's NBA draft, albeit a sweet pick. But after the first ten minutes, the biggest question will be answered. After the jump, let's talk a bit about what could happen after that fateful trip to the podium.

Click for full story. When mock drafts everywhere were updated, my e-mail, Twitter account and the comments here were flooded with questions about the number four pick. The Nets seem to be wavering on who they will pick at number three, meaning Derrick Favors may be available at number four. After the jump, I'll talk a bit about what this could mean for the Sixers.

Click for full story. To me, things were looking up when I left for vacation. The team was far from a finished product, obviously, but we were told as fans that things would be turned around quickly under Doug Collins. A couple weeks later, let's take a look at where the team stands.

Yes, for a number of reasons, draft picks are typically for sale. After the jump we'll take a look at who could be selling and why in the hopes that the Sixers will be buyers.

Click for full story. Everywhere you turn. Every draft blog, every chat, every mock draft there's one common theme: The Sixers are going to do something unexpected with the number two pick. I guess you can't blame these guys, I mean, the Sixers are an easy target, but enough is enough.

Click for full story. I'm convinced Chad Ford is out of his mind. He continues to beat the drum that the Sixers are likely to trade the #2 pick (a) because Turner doesn't fit with Iguodala and (b) because other teams are interested in moving up and (c) because Doug Collins is in a "win now" situation. Let's throw some cold water on Ford's faulty logic after the jump.
