Contrary to popular belief, making a mistake is not the worst thing you can do in a position of power. Mistakes happen. They're a part of life. For the most part, mistakes can be overcome and lessons can be learned. The biggest sin a decision-maker can commit is to make a mistake, then compound that mistake by failing to correct it. The sin becomes unforgivable when the reason for leaving it uncorrected is less-than honorable.
