Click for full story. After giving it some serious thought, that's the situation I think the Sixers find themselves in without Thad Young. Two chances at winning, Speights and none.

Click for full story. First of all, thanks to Dean for hooking us up with tickets for tonight's game. It was great to meet everyone (Dean, Tray, Mike, Josh, Noah, Rob and Tom Moore). The game itself was heartening, for several reasons we'll get into after the jump. The win was huge. But seeing Thad Young helped off the court was just sickening.

Click for full story. Miller is listed as questionable for the game, I still think he's going to play, but if he can't go Lou has not earned the starter's spot at PG. Truthfully, he's earned less responsibility. Put Speights into the starting lineup and let Iggy run the show, that's your best chance.

Click for full story. Pull up a chair, get comfortable. Barring an ultra late-breaking story, the Sixers did not make a move. The roster will remain unchanged and the Sixers will go to battle with the roster they've had all season.

Click for full story. Though the third quarter saw the Nuggets run all over the Sixers, it was the first that left me steaming. Yes, the first quarter which saw the Sixers outscore Denver 25-13. If not for 5 blown easy opportunities, Philly would've been up 20 early. If not for ice cold shooting, they could've put this game away early. The third was about a run, an injury, foul trouble and Chauncey. Those things happen, you live with them, you overcome them. The mistakes we saw in the first, though. They linger. They turn into losses.

Click for full story. According to the man himself, Elton Brand's shoulder injury is not only causing him pain, but restricting his movement. He's going to have the shoulder re-evaluated and could miss some more time, or opt for surgery.

Click for full story. The Orlando Magic were dealt a huge blow tonight when Jameer Nelson went down with a dislocated shoulder. I'd say best-case scenario is a time line similar to Elton Brand's for return, but he may opt for surgery depending on how severe the dislocation is.

Click for full story. Samuel Dalembert's status for tonight's game is still unknown, but if I had to bet, I'd put money on him missing at least a couple of games. Last night, after the injury, Elton Brand started at the five, with Miller, Green, Iggy and Thad rounding out the lineup. If Sammy can't go tonight, that's the lineup I'd expect to see.

Click for full story. There's a deadline looming. Strike that. Instead, I'm going to look at this as the beginning. A fresh start to do this the right way. Of course, I'm talking about Elton Brand's return to the Sixers' lineup, which will probably happen either Friday or Saturday night. After the jump I'll give my plan for working him back into the rotation and back into the flow of the team.
