Click for full story. As I was doing some housekeeping around the blog, I decided to take a closer look at the four factors worksheet, and throw a couple new rows in to see if we could find any hidden nuggets in there that would point out the difference between winning and losing for the Sixers in 08-09. Results after the jump.

Click for full story. It's time to take a look back on the 2008-2009 season, and assess how each player performed. More importantly, though, I want to pay close attention to how the pieces on this young team progressed. It's Willie Green's turn today. Stats, trends, highlights and lowlights after the jump.

Click for full story. Most Sixers fans, and players for that matter, seem to feel the team needs to move on without the services of Samuel Dalembert. The Haitian Sensation is owed $25.1M over the next two seasons and his contract includes a trade kicker which would require any team who takes him to pay approx $3.75M upfront (thanks to Tom Moore for clearing this up). In order to move Dalembert at this point, the Sixers would have to trade for a player or players other teams have given up on. After the jump we'll take a look at they type of players who may be available in a swap of bad contracts.

Click for full story. Tom Moore has some possibly damning news on his blog. Neither Andre Miller nor Theo Ratliff showed up for the Sixers' final team meeting of the season today. I'm not 100% sure where I stand on the Miller question at this point. Theo, you can take or leave, I suppose. I have a feeling neither one of these guys will be around if/when the Sixers really turn the corner. Still, it's a bad way to end what was an excellent season for Miller.

Click for full story. There are two ways to look at the 2009-2010 Sixers right now. In one picture, Andre Miller is re-signed, they use a portion of the mid-level to get a shooter (hopefully more successful than Kareem Rush) and they hope that Elton Brand's return will catapult them to the top of the Eastern Conference. The second picture is far less clear, and possibly more realistic.
