Click for full story. Admittedly, it's a game late, but it's time to take a look at our fourth chunk of the 2011-2012 season for your Philadelphia 76ers. After a 4-7 showing in the third eleven, the schedule doesn't get any easier for this stretch, which will take us past the trade deadline.

Click for full story. It's our habit around here to break the season down into easily-digested slices. This year, we're going with six 11-game portions. Over the first 11, the Sixers finished 8-3 (which was actually the most popular prediction in the poll), now let's take a look at games 12-22.

Click for full story. It's always best to break the season down into easily digestible portions. Typically, we use 10 game slices, but this year let's go with 11 so we can do it in six easy parts. Up first, the first 11. Check out the schedule and vote for what you think the Sixers record will be on January 14th.

Click for full story. If you listened to last night's SixersBeat, you heard my predictions for the Eastern Conference this season. If you didn't listen, you should, but you can also see them here. Leave your own predictions, toss around ideas about the rotation, tell everyone what you hope to get for Christmas. You guys know the drill, it's pressing questions Friday.

Click for full story. When you're trying to predict a team's record prior to the season, the first hurdle is always minutes played. When you're dealing with a new coach and a young roster fresh off a dismal season under a terrible coach, it's quite a tricky proposition. Let's take a look at the actual minute distribution, extrapolate it to a full season, laugh at how far off I was back in September and even look at some production metrics.

Click for full story. Tonight's game is the first of a hellish nine that could either embolden this young Sixers squad for a playoff push, ruin the confidence they've built over the past nine, or maybe just show them how hard they're going to have to work to reach the level of some of the teams they're going to face. Learning experience or turning point, the results count, so let's get our predictions on the record.

Click for full story. The West has gotten weaker. At least on paper, it seems that way. Amare and Boozer fled the West, along with a slew of lesser talents. A new championship contender has emerged in the East. The Lakers still have to be the favorites to win it all, but overall, I do believe there will be more parity between the conferences.

Click for full story. The regular season begins tomorrow night with a battle between the Heat and the Celtics. Much like last season's Finals, I'm left with choosing between teams I loathe to root for, so I'll probably sit this out, emotionally. With the clock ticking down, however, it is time for me to get my predictions on the record. We'll take a look from a difference perspective this season.

Click for full story. Six wins, four losses. Can't say I saw that coming in games 41-50, not even close. As this strange and disappointing season unfolds, educated guesses seem to resemble the noun a whole lot more than the adjective. Anyway, after the jump we'll take a quick look back and a long look forward.

Click for full story. When the Sixers take the floor tonight against the New York Knicks, they will officially be tied with Detroit and Indiana for 12th place in the Eastern Conference. They will be 4.5 games out of the playoffs, 5 games out of the #7 seed, 6 games out of the #6 seed and 6.5 games out of the #5 seed. With 46 games remaining, I have absolutely no idea where they'll finish, but let's take a shot at predicting after the jump anyway.

Click for full story. I'm a bit late with our fourth 10-game preview of the season, mainly because I didn't want to predict 0-10. After the jump we'll take a look at the upcoming schedule, I'll try on some predictions for size and we'll discuss the new lens we're going to have to view the season through.

Click for full story. Prior to the season I said we'd break the season down into 10-game segments. Predict the results of the upcoming 10, dissect the results of the previous 10. After the jump we'll take a look at where we've been and where we could be going. Make sure you vote in the poll as well.
