Click for full story. I'd love to tell you the phantom foul that decided the game was simply a call made by replacement refs in a preseason game and not something that would ever happen in a real game. I'd love to, but think back to March 2008, against the Cavs. It happens when the games count as well.

Click for full story. Two preseason games remain for the Sixers, and tonight's bout with the Washington Wizards has the most drama attached. The game will be televised locally, the Wizards' enigmatic, injury-prone star had some tasty soundbites about his former coach, and Washington probably knows the PO better than the Sixers do. That was a recipe for abandoning the offense altogether against the Knicks. Leave your thoughts in the comments as you watch the Sixers try to push their pretend record to 6-1 against what I believe to be the most over-rated team in the Eastern Conference.

Click for full story. Well, the first preseason game most of us could watch without the aid of pirate websites was broadcast entirely in Spanish. There's a reason the Sixers are the third (at best) most-popular team in Philadelphia. If you made it through this game, pat yourself on the back, wear it as a badge of honor, stick it in your back pocket and pull it out after they turn the corner and tell all your friends you watched a preseason game en Espanol, that's how crazy about the Sixers you were. If you didn't catch the game, well, you missed a thing of beauty.

Click for full story. The Sixers tipped off their sixth preseason game of the year moments ago in Mexico. They're playing the Suns, the game is available on NBATV (apparently, with Spanish announcers only). If you're watching, leave your thoughts in the comments. Hopefully, this will erase the memory that horrible Eagles game.

Click for full story. Jrue Holiday has played a grand total of 7 minutes, 44 seconds in the past two preseason games. Against the Nets he saw one brief run in the first half, against the Knicks he never got off the bench. Dei Lynam spoke to the rookie for her latest piece, after the jump we'll take a look at how the kid is handling his role.

Click for full story. The Sixers have played half of their preseason schedule and we have 13 days until they tip it off for real in Orlando. Let's take a look at the big questions we had heading into camp, and see if we're any closer to answering them now.

Click for full story. It wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a win. The Sixers fourth in a row to open the preseason, in fact. After the jump I'll give you my first-hand notes on the team's performance at the Garden tonight.

Click for full story. Later tonight, the Sixers will look to move their preseason record to a sparkling 4-0. Meaningless? Perhaps. But still, you want your team to play to win every time they take the floor. Winning begets winning, that's my motto. I'll be at the Garden tonight, among all the loyal Knicks fans in their Eddy Curry jerseys. After the jump, a few things I'll be keeping my eye on.

Click for full story. The Sixers trimmed their preseason roster to 15 today, Stromile Swift and Sean Singletary being the latest casualties of the numbers game. If you're keeping score at home, Dionte Christmas and Brandon Bowman are the only remaining free agent invites. I still believe the Sixers will head into the regular season with only 13 players under contract, but if they do opt for a 14th, Dionte is still alive.

Click for full story. All the teams have played a game or two in the preseason. This seems like as good a time as any to see how the first-round draft picks are performing at the pro level. We'll take a look at the available stats after the jump.

Click for full story. The Sixers will hold a practice tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. at the Spectrum. It's completely free and open the public, doors open at 10 a.m. and the practice will probably last for about 2 hours. I will be there as early as possible, who else is going? More after the jump.

Click for full story. "They say if you feed the dog, he'll guard the yard." Andre Iguodala speaking about the coaches' approach to Samuel Dalembert. In the past 24 hours I've read more positive articles about Samuel Dalembert than I read over the entire second half of last season. This may seem like a PR machine spinning out of control, but viewed from a different angle, it could be the key to a successful season for the Sixers.
