Click for full story. Tucked right between a three-game road trip and a four-game road trip is one game at the WFC for the Sixers, against the defending champs. The Mavs started slowly, but they'll bring a five-game win streak along with them tonight. The Sixers have their work cut out for them in their first national game of the season.

Click for full story. The Sixers used a horrible start to the first quarter, a disastrous end to the first half and consistently poor defensive rotations to submarine what was little more than a few spirited stretches of play in their 87-103 loss to the Magic. (game capsule).

Click for full story. When the Sixers beat the Magic 74-69 a couple of weeks ago, the Magic were in the midst of a dreadful four-game losing streak. Since that game, Orlando has won six of eight games, and their two losses came in overtime. It's probably going to be a very different team the Sixers will face in Orlando tonight.

Click for full story. TK76 takes a close look at how Doug Collins doles out his minutes and perhaps why he makes the rotational decisions he makes. Think of it as fodder for argument, or a much-needed therapy session to brighten up your Valentine's Day. Enjoy.

Click for full story. The Sixers played a pretty ugly game in Charlotte tonight, but did just enough to come out with a pretty average win. They were far from energetic and dominant, but when the game was on the line they came up with the stops and buckets they needed. As they say, it looks like a line drive in the box score. (game capsule).

Click for full story. When fully healthy, the Charlotte Bobcats might just be the worst team in the NBA. Without Gerald Henderson and D.J. Augustin, well, it's a little less debatable. The Sixers have made a habit out of destroying teams like this, they need to keep their foot on the gas tonight and chalk up another road win heading into another tough stretch of games beginning Wednesday.

Click for full story. If you had told me the Sixers would be 10 games over .500 at any point during the 2011-2012 season back in the summer, I would've bet my life on the catalyst being Jrue making a major leap in his third season. Well, they're ten games over, so let's take a look at how much of that has to do with Jrue's development.

Click for full story. It's good to know the stretch of seven games against top-notch opponents didn't make the Sixers forget how to treat a bad team. Last night, the Sixers manhandled the Cavs and put another lopsided win on the board. (game capsule).

Click for full story. The Sixers manhandled the #2 offense in the league tonight. They held them to 78 points. They made Blake Griffin use 19 shots to score 16 points. They held Chris Paul to 4 assists. They did all of that, and absolutely, positively pissed the game away on the offensive end. (game capsule).

Click for full story. If the Sixers spent their practice yesterday ironing out their pick-and-roll defense, as they should have, tonight their work will be put to the test. Tony Parker was brilliant on Wednesday, but he's clearly a rung or two below Chris Paul on the PG ladder. Paul has been beyond brilliant in his first 18 games with the Clippers, and he has a couple of elite finishers to set up if the Sixers leave any creases open.
