Click for full story. Fresh off a 3-3 road trip, that started with a loss on the road to the floundering Wizards, the Sixers will face a troubled Washington squad at 7pm tonight. Preview and game thread after the jump.

Click for full story. The losses just keep on coming, and each one seems worse than the last. Tonight's loss featured some of the worst defense you'll ever see. Some of the worst lineups the Sixers have ever trotted out there. A coach who has gone beyond losing his roster, he's alienated and weakened them as individuals and after the jump I'm going to blow off some steam. Make sure you check out the slideshow I put together to illustrate exactly how deplorable this defense has become.

Click for full story. After watching 27 games of Eddie Jordan basketball in Philly, I can actually tell why the Wizards over-achieved under him. The Wizards are a jumper-happy crew with very little care for the defensive side of the ball, either because Jordan made them that way, or because that's how he demanded the roster be structured. Now Flip Saunders has inherited this flawed roster and he's trying to get them to play sane basketball. Tonight, old and new will collide in Washington. Preview & game thread after the jump.

Click for full story. 38 minutes and 20 seconds of putrid basketball had me in a foul mood. With 9:40 to go in the fourth quarter, the Sixers found themselves down by 11 with little hope of snapping their two-game slide, high hopes of becoming the second-biggest laughing stock in the Eastern Conference. When the final buzzer sounded, I was feeling a little better, but not much.

Click for full story. After four consecutive losses, the Sixers came out tonight to make a statement and prove everyone wrong. Unfortunately, they weren't trying to prove the point we were hoping. Instead, they were bound and determined to show that you can suck from the foul line and still win a game. Mission accomplished.

Click for full story. Tonight's game will feature one of my favorite match-ups, Andre Iguodala vs. Caron Butler. Each is under-appreciated, in my opinion. Each a complete player who helps his team in so many different ways, I love seeing those guys go at each other for 40+ minutes. Honestly, I'm hoping the only drama in this game will be whether Iguodala plays enough minutes to out-score Butler. This game really needs to be a blowout in the Sixers' favor.

Click for full story. It shouldn't have taken a strong final four minutes to put away the Washington Wizards, but it's good to know they're capable, and it's great to see Andre Iguodala leading the charge.

Click for full story. Tonight's game was marred by poor rebounding and porous defense through the first three quarters. For once, though, this team's shooting, particularly from three, made up for their lapses in the other areas. Amazing.

Click for full story. If so, then the Sixers are going for a winning streak tonight, or a winning jag if that floats your boat. Either way, it would be their second three-gamer this year, and would push them to 12-14. Standing in the way is the same struggling Wizards team the Sixers handled easily on Saturday in Tony DiLeo's coaching debut. We'll talk a little about the game after the jump and also try to come up with a stat to follow. Again, use this post to leave your thoughts during the game.

Click for full story. Regardless of my thoughts on the length of Tony DiLeo's reign as the Sixers' head coach, I'm excited to see what he does in the short term as the head coach of this team.
