Well, the Eagles signed their Donte Stallworth replacement today, for more money than the Patriots paid Stallworth. Kevin Curtis, the 5'11", 189 lb. stormin' Mormon wide receiver will earn $32 million from the Eagles over the next 6 years. The contract is front-loaded, with most of the guaranteed money coming in the first two years of the deal.
Curtis is fast, and smart, so he should be able to learn the intricate Eagles offense, and possibly stretch the field, but he's never been a starter, and never caught more than 60 passes in a season.
Like I said before, this is not the side of the ball the Eagles need to worry about. Anything they get at this point is gravy. They will score plenty of points. They need to worry about stopping the run, and they haven't done a thing on that front as of yet.
