I'd love to say that I don't buy it. That the fact that he almost played on Sunday night is a sure sign that he'll be ready, but that's not what I think. Ankle injuries are tough to predict for anyone. Ankle injuries for running backs are a complete crap shoot.
It's blatantly obvious that the Eagles need Westbrook back ASAP. Without him, the only home run hitter on the offense is DeSean, and he's wildly inconsistent at this point. As much as I want him back on the field, I can't shake the feeling that we won't see him again until week 8 against Atlanta, after the bye. I hope I'm wrong.
Well I do think the sixers need westbrook but i would rather see him at least 90% in game 8 vs coming back early and missing more time when it really counts. Unfortunately its the same deal every year for the birds....hope and pray that WestBrook or Mcnabb dont get hurt. Unfortunately one of them always does...
Its difficult being an eagles fan...it really is.
The tide will turn at some point, I just don't know when.
