I have good news and bad news. Bad first, the Heat used a 30-point fourth quarter in Charlotte to put the Bobcats away, picking up a half game on the Sixers in the process.
The good, well, don't look now but the Sixers are only 2 games behind the Hawks in the loss column after the Celts took care of Atlanta.
So heading into their matchup with the Pistons tomorrow afternoon, the Sixers will be playing to put some distance between themselves and the Heat, and gain ground on the suddenly struggling Hawks. Miami and Atlanta both play the second half of back-to-backs tomorrow, the Heat at Washington and the Hawks vs. Orlando (the same Orlando team that massacred the Cavs tonight).
Need even better news? Thad says he'll definitely be back for the playoffs
(although the team doctors may have a different opinion on the matter).
A win tomorrow could clinch a playoff berth for the Sixers as well.
