Two draft-related questions after the jump to kick off your Monday morning.
As things stand right now, I'd say there's absolutely no chance the Sixers wind up with the fourth pick, fifth is an extremely long shot as well. Odds are, the Sixers' pick will either be top three, or seven through 11.
With that in mind, I have two questions for you guys:
1. If the Sixers grab a little bit of luck and wind up with the #3 pick, which big do you want them to take? Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins?
2. If the Sixers wind up at #6, the top five off the board were Wall, Turner, Favors, Cousins and Wesley Johnson, which of these bigs would you choose? Aldrich, Monroe, Udoh, Ed Davis, Patrick Patterson or Hassan Whiteside? (let's limit this discussion to centers or power forwards only)
Answer the questions in the comments and let me know why. My answers: Favors and Udoh at this point. I was extremely impressed by what I saw from Udoh, to me he has the unique skills for a big (handle, passing, feel for the offensive game) that Monroe does, and the requisite skills for a big as well. I think he'd be a perfect fit and has a chance to be a very, very good pro. You could worry about his age (22), but the things I'm looking at have less to do with experience and more to do with natural skills, and maybe motor. I just like the kid.
