The Sixers have announced an open practice next Saturday, Oct. 10th, to be held at the Spectrum. I will be in attendance and hopefully I'll see some of you guys there. More details after the jump.

It's an amazing time of year, the season is nearing, beat writers are given open access to the early days of training camp, they've got copy to write, live chats to host. The players are pumped to be officially back in the gym, they're talking about practice on Twitter. Finally, posts will write themselves. Slam is in the process of releasing their top 50 list. Today, Andre Iguodala's name came up at number 26. The ranking is bad, as is the article that accompanies it, but take a look anyway. I'll quickly explain why after the jump.

The Sixers will officially unveil their new uniforms today at 2pm (The picture above is the accidentally leaked road version). If you're in Philly you can head down to the Wach, the event is open to the public. Thad Young and Elton Brand will be doing the whole runway thing to show off the new threads.
