The Sixers will officially
unveil their new uniforms today at 2pm (The picture above is the accidentally leaked road version). If you're in Philly you can head down to the Wach, the event is open to the public. Thad Young and Elton Brand will be doing the whole runway thing to show off the new threads. If you go,
e-mail me a picture and I'll post here. Bonus points if you're in the picture with Thad or EB. (Pic is up after the jump, thanks to

they just said via Twitter that the new unis will be "a nice blend of old and new"... I hope for the best but I don't have a nice feeling... uhm....
I have no doubt in my mind that they are going to look classy.
Here is the link from Hoopsworld on the preview of the Sixers for this year. I don't agree with much of their assessment on this team.

One of those guys picked the Sixers to finish 5th in the Atlantic...behind the Knicks. Awesome.
I love em'. just wish the short's waistband was red, white and blue like before
Toronto did add DeMar DeRozan, Jarrett Jack and Hedo Turkoglu. So I can see philly being 3rd in the division.
Bosh
Turkoglu
Bargiani
DeRozan
Calderon
Their roster is loaded from top to bottom.
It's definitely loaded with guys who can't defend.
The white uniforms are REALLY WHITE.
Brand: "I like it. It's retro, but it definitely has a current feel to it."
Young on Brand: "He’s looking great. I’ve been out there with him for the past week. You can tell he’s been in the gym every day. He’s making all of the little turn-around jumpers, hook shots, taking you off the dribble to the basket. He’s dunking, running the court. He’s doing a whole bunch of things. We’ll see how it goes during the season, but right now he’s out there like a monster.
"He’s definitely a hard worker. Everybody knows that. Every time he steps on the court, it’s about winning. That’s what we all want to do. He’s been going out there just killing everybody who steps in front of him. Some days, I’ll be like, ‘I don’t even want to guard him’ because he’s so big and so strong and makes all kind of crazy flip-shots and turnaround jumpers and stuff. It makes him impossible to guard sometimes."
