Thank God for the Nets. That's a phrase that you know has been uttered countless times by both Eddie Jordan and Ed Stefanski. The horrible season the Sixers have turned in to this point is nothing compared to the mess in New Jersey, but that could all change with a loss tonight.

The Iguodala rumors are heating up, there's talk the Cavs are still in the mix, someone floated the idea of the Clippers being interested. Apparently there may be a market for Lou Williams no as well. None of that matters in the least. Check after the jump for the only rumor that actually has me excited.

All things considered, the Sixers played a pretty decent 48 minutes tonight and lost to a better team. It's as simple as that.

If that picture doesn't freak you out, think about this. An improbable win tonight against the Lakers would almost certainly add another couple of games to the Eddie Jordan doomsday clock.

When I check out the rumor mill on a daily basis and find both Andre Iguodala and Amare Stoudemire with prominent placements, I get worried. After the jump I'll tell you why.

The script for this game played out pretty much exactly like so many of the team's previous 29 losses. The only consistent aspect of the Sixers play being inconsistent defense. Runs, countered by runs countered by sputtering offense, blown rotations and botched defensive rebounds. Midway through the fourth Eddie Jordan changed things up a bit, but it was too little, too late.

The first time the Sixers met the Bucks, way back in game two, Philly essentially had their way with Brandon Jennings and gang. Jennings nearly notched a triple-double, but the game was pretty much a laugher. Since then, the Sixers have woefully underperformed while the Bucks had a nice run and have fallen on hard times since. Preview and game thread after the jump.

As a fan, I feel a little bit numb after 44 games. I feel like I've been beaten into submission, beaten to the point where I've come to not only expect the worst, but settle for things that simply are not acceptable. After the jump, I'll give you a glaring example of what I'm talking about.

Eddie Jordan's new rotation scheme, which essentially boiled down to a token starting lineup for about 12 minutes/game and then 36 minutes of the same maddening rotations, was exposed tonight in its third game of existence. Believe it or not, though, my post tonight is actually going to focus mostly on smart coaching moves.
